The Children of Abraham: Abraham, Sarah, Hagar—Healing the Rift
Our first event was held at the Islamic Association of the Southern Tier on May 31, 2009. Over 150 persons from various Abrahamic congregations—Jewish, Christian, Muslim—gathered in a tent. That tent represented the tent of hospitality in the stories of Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar.

Held May 22, 2011 at the Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier. There were no presentations, but we had conversations around tables as we shared a meal.

Rabbi Ron Kronish of Israel sp oke on November 2, 2014, at Vestal United Methodist Church. He is former director of the Interreligious Coordinating Council of Israel.

Interfaith Conversations series -

Persons of faith from all Abrahamic faiths met in small groups to discuss how the three religious traditions address peacemaking. These sessions were run from May through December 2015.

Remembrance and Peace Vigil - 2016

Interfaith 9/11 Remembrance and Peace Vigil in memory of all victims of terrorist acts from New York to San Bernadino, Paris, Brussels, Orlando, Istanbul, Africa, and the Middle East. Faith leaders from the three Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam pray for peace and solidarity.
